Nautical Inspector (m/f/d)

Your mission:

  • Monitoring, including planning the maintenance and upkeep of nautical systems, deck equipment, and safety systems
  • Managing communication systems within a specifically defined area of our fleet
  • Handling insurance claims
  • Budget planning
  • Preparing and conducting dockings
  • Close collaboration and communication within the team and with the ship crews

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training or degree in Nautical Studies, with relevant sea experience as a nautical officer (m/f/d) or captain (m/f/d) (AG/AM certification)
  • Ideally, experience in inspecting within a shipping company
  • Knowledge in nautical and technical maintenance of ships and shipbuilding is desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
  • Independent and self-motivated work style
  • Strong communication skills, reliability and teamwork capability
